Behind the Scenes: Fixing DJI’s Avata Drone Launch Campaign in Thailand

When DJI was preparing to unveil their revolutionary Avata FPV drone to the world, they needed a location that could showcase the device’s incredible capabilities across diverse, visually stunning environments. Their choice? Among several countries that DJI went to shoot at, Thailand was one of the choices. We had the honor to be the local production partner to make it happen.

A Week of High-Flying Production

For one intensive week, our team served as the comprehensive fixer for DJI’s Avata launch campaign, handling every aspect of their Thailand shoot. Working with prototype drones before the official release, we facilitated filming across some of Bangkok’s most iconic and unique locations.

Spectacular Locations, Seamless Execution

The production took us to an extraordinary range of venues that perfectly demonstrated the Avata’s versatility:

Sacred and Serene: We arranged filming at a magnificent temple featuring a towering Buddha statue, capturing the drone’s precision and grace against Thailand’s spiritual heritage.

Urban Adventure: The abandoned graffiti building near Impact Arena provided the perfect backdrop for dynamic flight sequences, showcasing the Avata’s agility in tight, artistic spaces.

Aquatic Wonder: Sea World at Paragon Center offered a unique indoor environment where the drone’s capabilities could be demonstrated in controlled, visually rich surroundings.

Sky-High Spectacle: Perhaps most memorably, we coordinated a rooftop Muay Thai fight on a Bangkok skyscraper, creating an unforgettable fusion of Thailand’s national sport with cutting-edge drone technology.
